Quality Partner

Quality Partner
£37,000 – £40,000 per annum | Full-time | Based in Leicester, Chesterfield or Birmingham, with companywide travel

Help us make outstanding care the standard, not the exception, across every iBC service.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Partner to join our Quality and Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Quality and Compliance. You’ll be a trusted expert in quality assurance, working across a portfolio of our services to audit, monitor and drive improvement in the care we provide to adults with complex needs.

Using CQC’s Key Lines of Enquiry and risk-based methodology, you’ll simulate inspections, analyse findings in detail and use your expert judgement to decide the right course of action, so every service stays compliant and keeps moving towards Good and Outstanding. You’ll work closely with Service Managers, Area and Care Operations Managers and our Head of Services, and you’ll represent iBC with commissioners and local authorities.

This is a multisite role with regular travel across our services in the East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire and the Northwest, including new developments and service reconfigurations as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit all services in line with CQC KLOE requirements, supporting local Service Managers to achieve and maintain full compliance
  • Create and drive tailor-made action plans, then provide ongoing support to sustain Good and Outstanding care quality
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual quality standards, systems and processes
  • Analyse KPIs, capture positive outcomes from services, and keep meticulous records with a clear audit trail of decisions, actions and outcomes
  • Represent iBC at contract and quality assurance meetings, updating commissioners and local authorities on service quality and progress
  • Support Area and Care Operations Managers with Key Quality Audits across all sites, and contribute to presentations alongside the Managing Director
  • Share advice, guidance and best practice with development and operations teams on local authority commissioning and project implementation
  • Provide quality and compliance support on development projects, including service reconfigurations and transitions
  • Work with the Head of Services to develop and issue new policies, procedures and guidance that support continuous improvement
  • Ensure iBC policies and procedures, CQC standards and Health and Safety requirements are adhered to across the business

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in Health and Social Care at management level
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, the Mental Capacity Act (including DoLS), Safeguarding, Health and Safety and other relevant legislation
  • A clear understanding of the Care Act and its implications for practice
  • Previous experience in a multisite role
  • Experience of implementing or using electronic care planning and medication systems
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with service managers, senior leaders and external professionals
  • A commitment to person-centred care and embedding best practice and continuous improvement across an entire organisation

What We Offer

  • Paid induction and ongoing training
  • Funded Health and Social Care Diplomas (Level 2–5)
  • Blue Light Card
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Enhanced Family Leave
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Genuine career progression within a growing organisation
