We are currently recruiting Female Mental Health Support Workers (Drivers) to join our dedicated, mixed team in Doncaster, DN4 5LG.

Additionally, the individual has Complex Post‑traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder alongside trauma‑related emotional needs. A mobility vehicle is in use, so being a driver is essential.

The role involves working with emotional dysregulation, high‑risk behaviours, and crisis‑prone situations, so confidence, resilience, and a calm, trauma‑informed approach are vital.

Role: Female Support Worker – Driver

Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour
Shifts: Days & Nights available
Hours: Full‑time & Part‑time.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting people with ASD, ADHD, trauma, and behaviours that challenge EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder)
  • Complex Post‑traumatic stress disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Experience or understanding of complex mental health, including self‑harm risk management.
  • Strong de‑escalation skills & a non‑reactive, trauma‑informed approach
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Good boundaries, consistency & organisational skills
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person‑centred support and promote independence.
  • Support with daily living tasks (medication, cooking, cleaning, documentation)
  • Assist with emotional regulation and maintain structured routines.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
  • Support with community access & physical activity.
  • Work collaboratively with mental health and emergency services when required.
  • Provide safe and consistent 2:1 support, including during crisis situations.
